Nug (More properly Nagoob) and Yeb, the Twin Blasphemies, are Fictional characters in H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos. The twin spawn of Azathoth, one could associate them with Clark Ashton Smith's Ghizguth and Cxaxukluth. However, it is impossible because the former is the spawn of the latter. But another of his creations, Ptmak, would fit the bill perfectly as Nug. Nug, a deity of uncertain gender, was parent of Cthulhu and a god among Ghouls. Yeb was androgynous, the leader of Abhoth's alien cult, & parent of Hzioulquoigmnzhah, the aforementioned Ghizguth, and probably Hastur.
She moved towards one side of the mirror so that the image of Cxaxukluth was held within the frame of the mirror and behind it, frozen with fear on the opulent staircase, that of Zykakis.
Cxaxukluth moved towards Zykakis with a cannibalistic intensity and immediately its tentacled form began rending his flesh, he let out a scream like nothing Belan had ever heard before, a horrendous lilting ululation that echoed about the chamber.
When she felt the sudden appearance of the hardwood staff within her hands she knew what final step she had to take, she raised it above her head and brought it down with as much force as she could muster on the surface of the mirror.
