Cyan Garamonde is a playable character in the Square Co., Ltd. video game Final Fantasy VI (originally released in North America as Final Fantasy III). Cyan hails from Doma, a country at war with the Gestahl Empire. Cyan is a loyal knight and protector of the throne of the Kingdom of Doma.
Cyan appears to have a tough time trusting Celes as she was once an ex-General of the Empire and the Empire is the source of Cyan’s emotional turmoil.
Cyan later joins the Returners and supports their cause as the Empire was directly responsible for the poisoning at Doma and as a serious person, Cyan seems to have put his problems behind him for most of the game, although later on, he learns to cope and deal with loneliness in his life.
