The Cyber subculture, also known as cyberculture, is used both to refer to a branch of the goth and rivethead subcultures that has arguably become a subculture in its own right. Someone who identifies with the Cyber subculture can be called a Cyber, although the term Cybergoth is also used to refer to the more goth influenced end of the movement. Music and fashion are two areas that define cyber culture, but Cybers also have a general interest new and future technology, it's influence on society, and other such Cyberculture topics. The subculture enjoys niche status and a relatively small (but growing) following. Influences are predominately taken from post-industrial, post-modern, and particularly cyberpunk film, literature and fashion.
