Cyrus Bolooki is the heavy drummer of the popular pop-punk band group New Found Glory. New Found Glory originally asked Cyrus to play with them after hearing him at a talent show while playing for fun in a different band. He used to attend Chaminade-Madonna, in Hollywood, Florida.
CyrusBolooki: I love all shows that we play but I think if I had to pick a favorite I would say the bigger shows because the view from the stage is breathtaking and something you have to experience to know what I mean.
CyrusBolooki: New Found Glory was founded by a group of guys who wanted to play music that they all enjoyed and wanted to take that music and bring it out to anyone and everyone they could and we’re still doing that.
CyrusBolooki: After the changing of the drummers, which is what brought me into the band, I think everyone felt like that was New Found Glory and the lineup we had from that day was really the main and real lineup of NFG.
Florida's New Found Glory has been rocketing in popularity over the past few months, thanks in part to their hit, "Hit Or Miss," which hails from the band's self-titled MCA debut.
Ironically it was one of their fans, CyrusBolooki, who stepped in and helped make the band a success in the first place.
Bolooki had made friends with one of the bandmates, who then suggested him to the band as a replacement.
