DJ Red Alert (Born 1976, Queens) is among the most famous hip-hop / rap / swing beat Disc Jockeys. He was a major influence for a long list of great and some not so great Disc Jockey's and the styles of Dj'ing employed by Disc Jockeys in the New York City area and beyond, including around the country, that is the country the United States of America. He is mostly known mainly for his spot on 98.7 Kiss fm (one of New York City's premier radio stations of the 80's) He is also well know for his production abilities. He plays mny records that ahve become hits first before other Disc Jockeys famously including Hit 'Em Up by 2pac and Generation Sex by Divine Comedy he also was instrumental in breaking new jack swing.
