Some levels speculated included a volcano level, a beach level, a jungle level (the first revealed level in trailers and first screenshots). One feature noted with the beach level was that there would be a part in the level where you would actually get to ride Enguarde to reach another section of the track. This was originally a feature that was going to be implemented in the canceled GameCube game Donkey Kong Racing.
