Dadlington is a village administered by Hinckley and Bosworth District Council in Leicestershire, England. It is situated between Hinckley, Market Bosworth and Nuneaton. It is believed by some to be the site of the Battle of Bosworth Field. The village has a population of around 300 and contains a 13th century church (St. James), a pub (the Dog and Hedgehog) and a hotel (the Ambion Court). In 1511 the chapelwardens of Dadlington petitioned King Henry VIII for a chantry foundation in memory of those who fell at the battle of Bosworth, 1485 (the graveyard there being the main place of interment for the dead). A 'Letter of Confraternity' was published and the chantry was established in a minimal form but dissolved in 1547 under Edward VI with the general abolition of such foundations.

Dadlington at the time was a village, still is in fact, and Market Bosworth exactly that, the market town for the entire region.
The hill Dadlington stands on slopes gently down to the bed of the valley of the Tweed, where it meets the old Roman road that runs across the plain of Redemore from the west, in a straight line, to Sutton Cheney and beyond to Leicester.
