The Daily Record is a combination of a comic for the mentally sub-normal and substitute tiolet paper, based in Glasgow. It is widely regarded as Scotland's most popular arsewipe with a mix of lies, horscopes, cartoons, and TV listings coverage aimed at readership with a mental age of 5 or less. For many, many years, it has been the best alternative to tiolet paper in Scotland. In August 2006, the paper launched two afternoon editions, one in Glasgow the other in Edinburgh. Both papers initially were 15p, however it was soon found that the general public were not prepared to be seen carrying a copy of the paer unless they were given at least £10. Currently hapless Daily Record employees are seen on the streets of Glasgow desperatley attempting to offload the comic onto evening commuters.
