Daizengar is a fictional giant robot from the Japanese video game series Super Robot Wars. It has appeared in Super Robot Wars Alpha 2, Alpha 3, and Original Generation 2. Super Robot Wars: Alpha Gaiden, one of many SRW games released by Banpresto in Japan. ...

Description

Daizengar is mostly a shade of light black accompanied by a light shade of grey. On various parts of its body is does have yellow most notably over its hands, on the shoulders' General Blasters, and the knee spikes. It also has some red which make up the fingers, lower chest, much of the lower legs, and are highlights along the face. Daizengar looks very much like an angry and fierce demon that is prepared for combat, but also maintains a design very reminiscent of a samurai.

Technical and historical

After the fall of the Divine Crusaders, many of the remnants dissolved back into the Earth Federation. Telsa Labs (containing many former Divine Crusaders) along with Mao Industries began work on a new series of machines. The first of these was the DGG-XAM1 Dynamic General Guardian (Codenamed "Double GG") which was supposed to be a unit that would replace the Grungast series as the mainstray Super Robot mecha. The Double G was superior to the Grungast in many ways and was quite formidable in many ways in terms of defensive and offensive capabilities. The story of Daizengar now varies depending on game. The title mecha RX-78-2 Gundam from the popular anime Mobile Suit Gundam In some works of science fiction, mecha (singular or plural) or mechs (singular: mech) (sometimes referred to as giant robots) are piloted or remote-controlled limbed vehicles. ...

In the SRW Alpha timeline game SRW Alpha 2, this unit is handed to Alpha Numbers. After Major Zengar Zombolt used his Grungast Sanshiki to defend the Alpha Numbers' battleships from an attacked by Kukuru which in turn, heavily damaged his unit. The Double G was launched even though its operating system was not yet completed, and thus, could not use any of its weapons. Luckily, however, Zengar's old comrade Elzam (under the disguise of "Retsuel") appeared. Zengar, now rebuffed with his statement that he is no longer a man who will fight for vengeance but for his honor once more, asks for the Sanshiki's Zankantou sword. Retsuel hands it to him. Zengar utilizes the Zankantou as his only weapon and refuses to have the Daizengar use any of its original weapons. He abbreviates Dynamic General Guardian's katakana spelling ("Dainamikku Generaru Gaadian") to "Daizengar" ("Great Zengar"). Zengar declares his "War God" Daizengar to be his new sword to cleave all evil.

In the Original Generation timeline game SRW Original Generation 2, the DGG-XAM1 Dynamic General General Guardian is more or less a custom made unit for Zengar which is made along its brother, the DGG-XAM2 Aussenseiter. A similar event to what happened in Super Robot Wars Alpha 2 occurs, but with some differences. Zengar and Retsuel participate in a battle to recapture Telsa Laboratory where many of their comrades are held. While Retsuel infiltrates it, Zengar is busy fighting off the Neue Divine Crusaders as well as Inspector member Vijaj and his robot, the Gargaw. Zengar's Grungast Sanshiki is heavily damaged while fighting Vijaj. Suddenly, Odin Yamir, Zengar's doppleganger from another universe and Zengar's combat rival, appears with the statement "If I cannot defeat him, no one will!". Odin then gives Zengar the Sanshiki's Zankantou sword. Jump to: navigation, search Aussenseiter is a fictional giant robot from the Japanese video game series Super Robot Wars. ...

The Daizengar's main weapon is the Zankantou. This weapon is a sword shaped like a katana. It can utilize liquid memory metal to allow the blade to grow into a large broadsword for heavier combat. Daizengar's cockpit uses a Direct Motion Link system which allows the mecha to follow the exact movements of the pilot - this is perfect for the samurai, Zengar, who may now use his Zankantou with no restrictions.

DGG-XAM1 Dynamic General Guardian (Daizengar) (161 words)
Luckily(?), Zengar didn't seem much for the complicated process of using Dynamic General Guardian properly, and he didn't like the name either (I'm actually getting tired of typing it).
Zengar christened the machine as Daizengar (Dy-Gen-Guar should be more proper, but there is some conflict on what name is proper) and disabled Dynamic Knuckle and General Blaster.
Zengar used the machine simply to show of his mad crazy sword swinging skills.
Japan Hero Access -> Super Robot Wars Original Generation The Animation (415 words)
I know it's an old one, but this is the official website for Super Robot Wars Original Generation The Animation
so far all the popular OG characters are in this, and not having daizengar in it would be stupid
Really I like Daizengar because he is the stronger one in Super Robot Wars
