Captain Dale Dye (born May 8, 1944 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri) graduated from the Missouri Military academy as an Officer Cadet, he joined the US Marine Corps in 1964 due to lack of funds. He served in Vietnam in 1965, and 1967-70, and came out decorated numerously including a Bronze Star and three Purple Hearts for wounds suffered in combat. He currently hosts The Conquerors on the History Channel. Capt. Dye also hosts a Sunday evening radio show on KFI AM 640, Los Angeles.
