Plot

Dallas 362 is about two friends, Rusty (Shawn Hatosy) and Dallas (Caan). These two are as close as any two friends can be, calling themselves "brothers", and watching each other's backs, no matter what trouble they find for themselves. And they do find trouble - bar fights, jail, smoking, and drinking. Rusty's mother played by Kelly Lynch is constantly bailing them out of jail, cleaning their cuts and bruises, and trying desperately to get them to change their ways, but can't seem to break them out of this destructive pattern. Finally, desperate to save her son, she gets her boyfriend therapist Bob (Jeff Goldblum) to agree to see her son professionally. Through talks with Bob, Rusty starts to mature, to see how his life will end up if he doesn't alter his course. But Dallas isn't ready to change. In fact, he's headed down a really bad road. Despite Rusty's urging, Dallas doesn't want to change. So the problem for Rusty, is how do you grow up, when your best friend is stuck in one place.
