Dalnegorsk (Russian: Дальнего́рск) is a town located in Primorsky Krai, Russia, at 44.54° North, 135.51° East (The World Gazetteer). The old name of the town is Tetyukhe (Те́тюхе) (Chinese: 野猪河 yĕzhūhé; literally meaning "a river of wild boars"). The town was renamed Dalnegorsk in 1973 during the cleansing of Chinese names in Primorsky Krai. The town status was granted to Dalnegorsk in 1989.
