Transport for London

Dalston Kingsland station serves the North London Line. It is located on the Western side of Kingsland High Street (A10) in Dalston, opposite the popular Ridley Road market and is in Travelcard Zone 2. It reopened on 16th May 1983 - a station called 'Kingsland' on the same site had previously closed in 1865 due to the opening of Dalston Junction railway station on the line to Broad Street. Formerly, trains between Canonbury and Hackney Central ran straight through the site of the station. Dalston was served by trains from either direction running on to the North London Line's City branch to Dalston Junction station. That station closed along with the branch when the terminus at Broad Street station closed in 1986.
