Dan Beach Bradley (1804-1873) was a Christianmissionary to Siam. In addition to his missionary work, he served as a doctor, printer, writer, government advisor, and an unofficial American Ambassador. He is credited by the modern Thai people as introducing Western medicine to the country, printing the first non-government run newspaper, and was the teacher of kings Mongkut and Chulalongkorn.
