Dan Owsen is an employee of Nintendo of America who is probably most well-known for his Ask Dan column that used to appear on Nintendo's official website. He is also famous for his work in the translation of The Legend of Zelda series . Dan Owsen has worked at NOA since 1989 in a variety of departments. He started in Consumer Service during the days of the NES, and has since moved from department to department like a hobo, first going to Publications, then to Product Development, then back to Publications to work in the on-line area. Some of the more notable things he have had a chance to do at Nintendo include working with Mr. Miyamoto's R&D team, writing screen text for SNES and Game Boy Zelda and recording his voice for a couple games (Super Metroid and Star Fox).
