Daniel Briere (born October 6, 1977 in Gatineau, Quebec, Canada) is a French Canadian professional hockey centre. He currently plays for the National Hockey League's Buffalo Sabres. He was drafted by the Phoenix Coyotes in the 1996 NHL Entry Draft, First Round, Twenty-fourth Overall. He has played for the Buffalo Sabres, Phoenix Coyotes, AHL Springfield Falcons, IHL Las Vegas Thunder and QMJHL Drummondville Voltigeurs.
