Daniel Landa

Daniel Landa (born November 4, 1968 in Prague) is a Czech musician. Landa began his musical career in 1987 when he along with David Matásek founded the oi! band Orlík. He graduated from the Prague Conservatory in the area of Music and Drama. After the break up of the band in 1992 he began his solo career. Daniel lives whith his wife Mirjam Müller since 1990. They have a daughter Anastázie and twin daughters Roxana and Rozálie. He used to be interested in autocross, now he's interested in rallying. Controversies

Landa remains a controversial artist. Much of his earlier music was focused around skinheads and obviously racistic (particularly against gypsies, a large minority in Czech Republic) and nationalistic. It has been suggested that Racism in Mass Media be merged into this article or section. ... Landa claims to have grown out of his racistically slanted debuts, and nowadays pronounces himself as a patriot, although his critics call his opinions excessively nationalistic. His current initiative, "Ordo Lumen Templi" was compared to the nacist "Ordo Novi Templi".
