Danilo Bestagno is an Italian composer, born and currently living in Sanremo, Liguria, Italy, who is experimenting with regaining ancient tastes of classical music putting them in his compositions, completely created and performed with digital synthesizers using midi and sampling techniques. His various interests in music let him expand his attention on lot of genres a part classical, including most actual style of composition by loops. Four of his compositions have been broadcasted on Italian National Radio (RAI). He's responsible of sonification in first New Age painting exhibition held in CasinĂ² Municipale, Sanremo in 1997, with over 10 hours a day of different music going on during the whole week of the event. His principal activity in last year has been pointed at the creation and maintenance of the website AutoriPerSanremo meeting point between authors and singers interested in the creation of new songs for the Italian Song Contest 'Festival di Sanremo' known in the world as the most important italian music event.
