Bergara also managed the Brunei National team and the England Under-18 and Under-20 sides, with a World Youth Cup win also to his name. Sadly it has been reported today on a Stockport County mailing list by a friend of the family, 18th July 2007, that Danny has recently had a stroke, following on from a previous stroke suffered in March 2007.
