Daniel Knowles (Danny) MacFayden (June 10, 1905 - August 26, 1972) was a starting pitcher in Major League Baseball. From 1926 through 1943, MacFayden played for the Boston Red Sox (1926-1932[start]), [[New York Yankees 1932[end]-1934, Cincinnati Reds (1935[start]), Boston Braves (1935[end]-1939, 1943), Pittsburgh Pirates (1940) and Washington Senators (1941).
