McComas: We've been after the Senate for six, seven years, for the longest time, and this has been an issue that the recreational fishermen throughout the state have been pushing.
McComas: Well, we had an exemption on the original bill that went from the House to the Senate in July of last year, and one them-when I mentioned earlier that it needed some fine-tuning and tweaking-was exempting the older folks out there-62,65 years.
McComas: I won't talk about the six-pack of beer-how much does that cost?-or parking an hour at a beach community; the bag of ice, which is $1.29; the $200 a night for the room, or maybe even make it $100.
McComas has dedicated his time to serving the state's 19th Congressional District, New Hanover County, since election to the General Assembly in 1995.
Born in Puerto Rico, Rep. McComas graduated from St. Bonaventure University in New York with a Bachelor of Science degree.
McComas desires to bring greater discipline to government spending and to ensure that students have the excellent educational opportunities that come from qualified instructors, safe environments and up-to-date technology.
