In 1981, Danny Sheridan launched his then-girlfriend Nina Blackwood’s TV career as MTV’s first video jockey (VJ), and the press praised his “astute management” for orchestrating her meteoric rise. In 1988, Danny Sheridan married blues vocalist Bonnie Bramlett of “Delaney - Bonnie & Friends with Eric Clapton” fame, soon masterminding her 1990s career comeback via the “Revolutionary Hard Rockin’ Blues” of their “Bandaloo Doctors". Sheridan’s many songs have been performed by Bramlett; Coe; Oscar-nominated actress Amy Madigan; Nia Peeples and David Crosby who sang his “Roll On Down”. Sheridan has also composed for TV and film, notably CHiPs; F.A.M.E. and the Orion Pictures Gang Related.

In 2004 some of Sheridan's memorabilia was added to the permanent collection of the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame and Museum.
