A vastly experienced Goalkeeper, 31 year old Darren joined the Canaries in July 2004 from Nottingham Forest,Looking to gain experience in the Premiership. A full Welsh international who began his professional career with Mansfield Town before moving to Notts County then local rivals Forest. An exellent shot-stopper who commands his area well. He has had limited chances to make the number 1 jersey his due to the the consistently high performances of Robert Green. Reserve Games and the Substitute bench has been the only games Ward has incounted. For the exception of the away fixture at Charlton in Norwich's relegation bound season in the Premiership (2004-2005).
