Students in their first two years take classes in the old medical school buildings at the north end of the undergraduate campus in Hanover. Both classrooms are windowless, so students can be seen escaping for a vitamin D break in between classes. There are about 80 students to a class and they get to know each other very well (maybe too well) because the connections with other grad students and the undergrad campus are limited. The student activites staff is friendly and helpful and so are some of the professors. However, there are others who seem to consider it a burden to have to leave the hospital to teach their in-and-out one hour lectures.
