Dave Genn's introduction to touring in a band was with noted alt-rocker Art Bergmann in the early 1990s.
Hesitantly, Genn recalls the time he was expelled from St. George's all-boys prep school for drinking with a couple of his fellow band buddies in Kelowna.
These days, most of Genn's hours are split between recording songs at a century-old funeral chapel in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside and caring for Beckett, the two-month-old son he shares with wife Tamara Taggart, of CTV News fame.
