Dave Leitao (May 18, 1960 – ) is the 10th and current University of Virginia Cavaliers men's basketball coach. He played basketball at Northeastern University from 1978 to 1982. His previous coaching experience includes two stretches as Assistant Coach at the University of Connecticut (1986-1994 and 1996-2002). He served as Head Coach at his alma mater, Northeastern, from 1994-1996. From 2002 to 2005, he served as Head Coach at DePaul.
