March was a co-founder of Creem magazine in Detroit, and he also wrote for Newsday, The Village Voice, and Rolling Stone magazine. He also edited Rock and Roll Confidential, a newsletter about rock music and social issues. It was later known as Rock and Rap Confidential. ORLANDO, Fla. -- WESH 2 chief meteorologist Dave Marsh -- an institution in the Central Florida broadcast community for nearly 37 years -- announced his retirement on Monday, effective July 31, after forecasting Central Florida weather to four generations of viewers over the span of five decades.
Marsh is a longtime fan of old cowboy movies and has taken numerous trips out west to visit the sites where dozens of the old movies were filmed.
Following his official departure, Marsh will continue to represent the station at community events throughout the coverage area, said Bill Bauman, WESH 2 president and general manager.
