David "Dave" Van Kesteren (born October 7, 1955 in Chatham, Ontario) is a car dealership owner and a Conservative Party politician in Ontario, Canada. He is the Conservative's candidate in the riding of Chatham-Kent—Essex in the 2006 federal election. Van Kesteren, who is married and has eight children owns his own family business, Van Kesteren Auto Sales. He is a member of the Rotary Sunrise Club and is the President of the Chatham Christian Business Association. In the 2004 federal election, he ran and finished second to Jerry Pickard of the Liberal Party of Canada. He lost by 407 votes.
