David Bennett Hill (August 29, 1843 - October 20, 1910) was a Governor of New York.


He was born in Montour Falls, New York in 1843. Before serving as the Governor, he served as mayor of Elmira, New York and the lieutenant governor of New York. He was the Governor between 1885 and 1892. He was defeated for governor in 1894. He served as a U.S. Senator from New York between 1892 and 1897. He was also a candidate for Democratic nomination for President in 1892, but lost the nomination to Grover Cleveland, who later won the presidential election. He died in Albany, New York in 1910.
