David Bishop was a fictional character in the Australian television soap opera Neighbours, played by Kevin Harrington. He first appeared in 1988 for his father Harold's (Ian Smith) wedding to his High School sweetheart Madge Ramsay (Anne Charleston). Fifteen years later in 2003, David returned to Erinsborough on a more permanent basis with his wife Liljana Bishop (Marcella Russo) and their daughter, Serena (Lara Sacher) in tow.
