David Catching in Portland, OR on 06/09/06 David (Dave) Catching (b. June 7 1961) is an American musician from Memphis, Tennessee. He has played the guitar for well-known the hard rock bands, Queens of the Stone Age, earthlings? and Mondo Generator. He is also a member of Eagles of Death Metal, Yellow #5, and The Gnarltones. He regularly appears on the music improv series, The Desert Sessions. He also appears as guitarist/organist on the two albums of the Mark Lanegan Band.
