Biography

David Civera is a famous singer in Spain. He was born in Teruel, Spain in 1979.His parents are José and Pilar and he has two sisters, Sonia is older than David, and Vanessa is younger than David. David studied computering and communications but he liked music and he wanted to sing. His father went with him, twice a month from teruel to Valencia and David received classes of Solfeo, guitar and piano. He won a national TV program “karaoke” and participated in others TV programs (el sur de jerez, las estrellas del parque...).Then, in 1996, he particidated in a famous TV program ”lluvia de estrellas”imitating a fashionable artist Enrique Iglesias and the song “Experiencia religiosa”.He didn’t win this program. They said to him that he had his own style. In 1997, he worked in a new TV program “canciones de nuestra vida” where he and others sang old songs, while he worked in this programme, he made his first Cd ”Hoy como ayer” but this CD didn’t have popularity. Later, he worked in other TV programs too..This served him to find a producer (Alejandro Abad), who saw him and proposed him to go to “eurocanción”,in this program he was chosen a representative of festival of eurovision, of this year(2001)he accepted and on 23rd of February 2001, he and his song called ”Dile ue la quiero” (tell her that i lover her) won this festival pre-eurovision and David Civera was the chosen order to represent Spain in the festival of eurovision. Later, on 12th of may the day arrived. He acted in eurovision in copenhague(Dinamarca).He didn’t win but he obtained a 6th position it hasn’t been surpassed by the later representatives Spanish yet. Enrique Miguel Iglesias Preysler (born May 8, 1975, in Madrid, Spain) is a Spanish-born, Miami-based singer and multi-million-album seller. ...


He made a new Cd called “Dile que la quiero” which had a much greater success. In 2002, one year later, he published “En cuerpo y alma” and he sold more than 200000 copies and “Que la detengan”, the single was the song of the summer. Las year, 2003, he went to new orleans and he inspired his CD of the last 20 years old. The years of gangsters. He had a popular songs “Bye Bye” and “Rosa y espinas”, this recorded with David Bisbal. In 2004, he relaxed but released a DVD of a concert and other things. In 2005, he released “Perdóname” with a tango as the first single. This year, David participated in “Mira quien baila” a TV program that dancers teach to dance a famous persons. David won this program and he has raised a lot of money for the patients suffering from Alzheimers Disease. Finally, in 2006 he released his latest album ”Ni el primero ni el último” which contained a lot of slow songs without leaving behind the dance songs. The single first single qA ”El orgullo y la visa”. Civera is currently doing an extensive tour, presenting his new Cd in a lot of cities of Spain.
