David Hamilton Koch (born 1940) was the Libertarian Party's Vice-Presidential candidate in the 1980 U.S. presidential election, sharing the party ticket with Ed Clark. Koch (pronounced 'coke') is one of the owners and leaders of the nation's largest privately owned company, Koch Industries, Inc., for which he serves as executive vice president. He contributed $1.6 million to the Libertarian campaign[citation needed].
