Biography

Henrie was born in Southern California and moved to Arizona at age 2. At age 5, Henrie signed with a SAG Agency in Phoenix and began going out on auditions. At age 9, during a regional commercial shoot in Scottsdale, a director recommended that Henrie should move to LA. That summer, at the age of 10, the family packed their bags and headed to Hollywood. Henrie booked his first two national commercial auditions, playing principal roles in spots for Burger King and Quaker Oats. Henrie booked his first co-starring role on the TV show Providence, and went on to land a guest star role on the premiere episode of Without A Trace. He is currently dating Lucy Hale. By age 12, Henrie got his first big break, landing a regular role as Petey Pitt on the FOX sitcom The Pitts. Henrie next landed a leading role in the Hallmark movie, Monster Maker, with Linda Blair and George Kennedy, and was asked to come back for another Hallmark movie, to play a role in Dead Hollywood Moms Society, with Justine Bateman. Henrie's feature film debut was in the kid's camp movie Arizona Summer. Henrie has continued to work steadily in numerous guest roles on television series, including House M.D., Jack and Bobby, Judging Amy, NCIS, and The Mullets. In 2004, Henrie played the recurring role of Larry in the Disney Channel show, That’s So Raven and played Skyler Bladford in the FOX comedy Method and Red. Now 18, Henrie is starring in the Disney Channel series Wizards of Waverly Place as Justin Russo. He also has a role in the upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie Dadnapped. Aside from acting, Henrie has played on competitive hockey teams (Phoenix Firebirds, JR. LA KINGS) since the age of eight, and has traveled all over the US and Canada and has won national titles.
