Biography
David Kitt was born in Dublin, Ireland. As a child, with his father and uncle, musicians as well, he formed a folk group which toured the country. He studied music at Trinity College in Dublin where he began to perform live and solo. Thanks to the acquired knowledge and techniques in music and technology, he created, in his room, his first eight track album. His debut album, "Small Moments", is a collection of acoustic songs in which tenuous electronic orchestrations are stirred. His voice and style are compared by the critics to Nick Drake. KITT is the name of the computer controlling the high-tech Knight 2000 fl Pontiac Trans Am automobile, otherwise referred to as the "fl T-top", in the television series Knight Rider starring David Hasselhoff as Michael Knight.
KITT's main cybernetic processor was first installed in a mainframe computer used by the United States government in Washington D.C., however, Wilton saw better use for him in the Foundation's crime fighting crusade and eventually the system was installed into the vehicle.
KITT had many features, most of which had an activation button associated with them that were on panels mounted on either side of the steering wheel or on a console mounted on the ceiling of the interior.
