David Long is a New Zealand musician who played in The Mutton Birds. He has composed music for several films, including Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings. He produced Fur Patrol's debut album Pet. Long wrote original score for the TV series The Insider's Guide to Happiness and The Insider's Guide to Love, for which he was awarded Achievement in Original Music at the 2005 and 2006 New Zealand Film and TV Awards. “Instrumentalist” redirects here. ...
