David Marks (born 1947) is a musician. He was with the Beach Boys in 1962 and 1963, but was replaced by Al Jardine (whom he had to succeed because Jardine wanted to go to university in 1962). Marks played rhythm guitar and sang harmony vocals. He was replaced by Jardine because the latter's university career had faltered and Jardine fitted in better in the band, musically and socially.
