David Wallace (September 12, 1799–September 4, 1859) was a Whig governor of the U.S. state of Indiana from December 6, 1837 to December 9, 1840. He was born in Lewistown, Pennsylvania and later moved to Brookville, Indiana. He graduated from the United States Military Academy in 1821.
