Ambient 3/Day of Radiance (1980) is an album by the American ambient musician Laraaji which was produced by Brian Eno. This album is the third edition of Eno’s Ambient series, which began in 1978 with Music for Airports.
The music on this album consists of acoustic stringed instruments such as hammered-dulcimer and zither played by Laraaji, which are multi-tracked into complex textures and given reverb treatments by Eno. The first three tracks are collectively titled “The Dance” and are fast, rhythmic hammered-dulcimer textures. The last two tracks are slow, heavily reverberated pieces titled ”Meditation”.
