In Montreal, we had wanted to stay in Vieux Montreal in order to feel more of the history of the city and to be within walking distance of many of the sights we wished to visit.
We were fortunate enough to be in Montreal on a Sunday, so chose to attend High Mass at this Basilica in order to be able to hear the choir and the playing of the organ, which is one of the largest in the world and has 7,000 pipes.
