Dead By Sunrise (previously known as Snow White Tan) is the side project of Linkin Park's lead vocalist, Chester Bennington. The name Snow White Tan was speculated to be a reference to the David Bowie track "Ziggy Stardust", which includes the lyrics "Came on so loaded, man/Well hung and snow-white tan", but the band's renaming to Dead By Sunrise by Chester has not been publicly explained.
