The sale of the dealership was approved Feb. 25, but Ferrari of North America is still trying to block the transfer of the franchise agreement, which would effectively prevent the sale of the dealership.
The dealership's former owner, Brian Burnett, whose last known residence was Monte Sereno, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in August 1994, after the dealership was shut down amid allegations of fraud and tax evasion.
The dealership reopened under the auspices of a court-appointed trustee, and the dealer licenses were reinstated.
