Intense supporters of 2004 Democratic candidate, Howard Dean. Dean's appeal to young voters as well as his intense enthusiasm for the future of the party led many young democrats to love him. However, the media portrayed him as overly zealous and (some say) destroyed his chances to win the Democratic Primaries.


Some believe corporate payoffs from his opponents insured his early media crusifixion in order to silence the democratic party's best hope of winning the '04 election, none of this, however, is at all proven.
