Death Wish II is a soundtrack album by Jimmy Page, released by Swan Song Records on March 1, 1982 to accompany the film Death Wish II. Page uses a Roland guitar synthesizer on a number of tracks. Soundtrack features Dave Mattacks from Fairport Convention and veteran singer Chris Farlowe.
The album was #50 on debut on the Billboard's Pop Albums chart.
Album was recorded in famous Morrisound Studio but it doesn't mean anything more that is produced good: don't think that Precipice sounds like each traditional death metal band recording there.
I knew that this album would be good but the level which the band achieved on it, is far beyond my high expectations.
Frankly, the weakest point of this album is the drumming or rather the lack of human drummer.
DeathWishII (1982) is considered by many to be the weakest of the series.
DeathWish IV: The Crackdown (1987) is set in Los Angeles and follows the activities of Paul Kersey (again played by actor Charles Bronson, who was 66 years old at the time of filming) are financed by a wealthy individual bent upon avenging a drug-related death.
DeathWish was the favorite movie of John Ausonius, the Swedish racist killer who roamed the streets of Stockholm looking for “criminal immigrants” to kill.
