Career History
Since joining APN in April 1997, she has worked tirelessly to promote American support for peace in the Middle East. DeLee has traveled to the Middle East on numerous occasions on behalf of APN and discussed peace process issues with various Israeli and Arab leaders, including heads of state. Prior to joining APN, she was selected by President Clinton to serve as Chief Executive Officer of the 1996 Democratic National Convention. In this capacity, she designed, developed, and managed the entire organization required to produce the enormously successful 1996 Democratic Party convention in Chicago, which was attended by 20,000 delegates and guests, as well as 15,000 journalists. DeLee managed a paid staff of 400 people, a volunteer staff of 5000, and an overall budget of $50 million to put on the event.
