DEEDS (Development Education Society) is an Indian Non-Governmental Organisation established in 1989. It is a non-profit, non-political, non-sectarian organisation which operates in the Ponnai area of Tamil Nadu in Southern India. Its guiding commitment is to educate, and improve conditions for those who form the vulnerable sections of society. Also a nickname for Deedee, probably the coolest person in the world. Building the local organization

To build a strong local organization DEEDS promotes the following local bodies:

De Soto now ordered Diego Maldonado, a captain of infantry who had served him well, to give up his command, and take two ships with which he was to explore the coast of Florida for a distance of one hundred leagues to the west of Aute, and map out its bays and inlets.
