Plot

Denzel Washington plays Doug Carlin, an ATF agent who is called in to recover evidence in the investigation of a New Orleans ferry bombing and experiences a revelation that could allow him to save hundreds of innocent people.


Background

Filming was delayed following Hurricane Katrina because a key sequence involving a ferry was based around the New Orleans location. After the hurricane, the cast and crew have returned to New Orleans to continue filming. They also spent two weeks filming a scene at a local bayou, Four Mile Bayou, in Morgan City, Louisiana.
