Delano Peak is the highest point in the Tushar Mountains of south-central Utah. The Tushars are the third-highest range in the state, after the Uinta Mountains and the La Sal Range, though Delano itself is surpassed in height by at least thirty-one other Utah peaks. Getting There The mountain can be reached by a road leading east from Beaver. The road leads to the base of the mountain. Park your car here and head up straight for the summit. It is about 5 miles and 300 vertical feet from the road. The peak is covered in snow during winter and much of spring.
