The facilities, along with the nearby chair lift, were the very cornerstones of tourism in Delnice at that time.
However, in the recent past the entire place was left untended, and it had to be pulled down in the late 1990's.
Polane (950 m), meaning the pastures, is today a weekend resort, but in the past it used to be a summer (seasonal, periodical) settlement for the people of Delnice, who bred their livestock and farmed the land in a traditional migratory manner.
