Manufacturer Products

Delphi designs, engineers and manufactures a wide variety of components, integrated systems and modules on a worldwide basis, and is the largest and most diversified supplier of automotive parts. In January 2000 Delphi acquired the diesel systems business of Lucas TRW, making Delphi the world's second largest manufacturer of Diesel Fuel Injection equipment. Delphi Diesel owns the brands of CAV/Simms/RotoDiesel and Condiesel, the division also runs 10 subsidiary distribution companies in Brazil, China, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Mexico, Turkey, UK and USA. The diesel aftermarket company is headquartered in Warwick UK.

Delphi launched a solenoid diesel common rail injector, the uprated Multec system takes proven solenoid diesel injectors to Euro 6 / US Tier 2 and beyond. New 1,800 bar system : A new version of Delphi’s proven diesel common rail system will allow compliance with Euro 6 and US Tier 2 Bin 5 without costly next-generation injection technologies. Continuing the evolution of the firm’s successful solenoid injector family, the new system provides Delphi’s customers with seamless progression from Euro 3 well into the next generation of tough global emissions requirements. Delphi was the first to develop a solenoid injector that challenges the performance of servo piezo injection systems and the first to introduce closed loop control for diesel. It’s been a very successful strategy that has helped the company grow steadily to become the world’s second largest supplier of diesel common rail systems. Thier customers have proven that, for most applications, a well-engineered system using solenoid injectors can comfortably satisfy the requirements of Euro 5. Now we are taking this strategy to Euro 6 and beyond.

Delphi also manufactures the MagneRide suspension dampers, which use ferrofluid to adjust the damping rate of the shock absorbers based on road conditions, to offer an effective compromise between ride and handling [7].
